Haleyville native, Joseph, with the encouragement of his wife, Jordan, purchased all three Nichols Funeral Home locations from the Dimond family. Joseph is a graduate of both Haleyville High School and Jefferson State Community College, with a degree specializing in funeral service.

Joseph is a Licensed Funeral Director, Licensed Embalmer, Licensed Pre Need Agent, and Licensed Crematory Operator and serves as the Company President.

"Winston County is a special place, with special people- people I've proudly called family, friends, and neighbors all my life. I feel so honored to have the privilege to serve this community as the owner of one of this county's longest serving businesses. My goal is to continue to serve this area with the same dignity, compassion, and service that has been a staple in this community for almost a century."

We at Nichols Funeral Homes are proud to continue to be family owned and operated and will be for many years to come!
