William "Bill" Logan McGaughy, 71, of Lynn, entered into rest on March 24, 2018 at his home. Mr. McGaughy was born on January 20, 1947, in Eldridge, Alabama. Bill enjoyed the open road riding his motorcycles, tinkering around with wood working projects, and he loved his dogs. Bill is survived by his son, William Dion McGaughy and his girlfriend Jenny Bonnell; daughter, Dawn "Sis" Elder and her husband Michael; brothers, Roger (Norma) McGaughy, David (Karla) McGaughy, Jay (Margaret) McGaughy; sisters, Elizabeth Dungeon, and Lisa McGaughy. He was "Pappy" to 3 grandchildren, Kiana McGaughy, Beth and Cara Janney; 7 great grandchildren, Riley, Wyatt, Collin, Izabella, Eli, Landen and Logan; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lillie McGaughy and 2 sisters, Faye and Joyce.
