Sheliah P. Williams Obituary (1951

Sheliah Williams, 67, of Haleyville, entered into rest on December 14, 2018, at home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Williams was born on June 24, 1951, in Haleyville, Alabama. She graduated from Haleyville High school in 1969. Sheliah was a member of Corinth Heights Baptist Church. She worked for Northwest Abrasives for approximately 20 years, and enjoyed fishing in her spare time. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018, from 6pm-9pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 12pm. Dr. Lance Hogan will officiate. Burial will follow in Corinth Heights Baptist Church Cemetery. Sheliah is survived by her husband of 27 years, Wayne Williams; sons, John Williams and his wife Pam, and Ryan Williams; daughter, Tina Garrett and her husband Robert; brothers, Frankie (Lucia) Hill, and Charles (Tropia) Hill; Lee and Jenady, Brandon, Colby, Briley, Zoe, Amanda and Robby, Austin, Angel, Emily, Tammy, Crystal, Lane, and Chase. She was known as "Lil Maw Maw" to her grandchildren, Jason, Hannah, Jeffery, Heaven, Megan, Heather, Natilie, Jeremiah; and as "Granny" to her great grandchildren, Kara, Kai, Bailey, Scott, Adam, Cannon, and Ashlynn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Winnette Hill; sister, Sherry Hill, and a host of Uncles and Aunts.
