Sarah Ruth Blackwell Obituary (1953

Sarah Ruth Blackwell, 65, of Double Springs, entered into rest on August 1, 2018 at her home. Sarah was born on February 14, 1953, in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated from Winston County High School in 1971. Sarah was known by friends and family as “Tootsie”. She enjoyed shopping and watching westerns. Sarah loved attending church. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 11am-12pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where services will be held at 12pm. Pastor Chris Blevins will officiate. Burial will follow in Blooming Youth Cemetery. Sarah is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Eden Blackwell; aunt, Ruth Helen Blackwell; cousins, William Gregory Blackwell and Sheila Bernice Cook. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Weaver Blackwell; father, Marvin Blackwell; uncle, William Charles Blackwell; and cousin, Sammy Charles Blackwell.
