Robert Ray Edwards, 57, of Haleyville, entered into rest on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at his home. Mr. Edwards was born on May 24, 1960, in Toledo, Ohio. Robert was an escort driver with the CB handle "9Ball". In his free time he enjoyed shooting pool and fishing. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 6pm-8pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 3pm. Brother Alvis Treece will officiate. Burial will follow in Enon Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Robert is survived by his wife of 27 years, Patricia "Pat" Lynn Edwards; step-sons, Scott Henson and his wife Autumn, Jason Henson and his wife Michelle; sisters, Renae Garrison and her husband Junior, and Ramona Siquina and her husband Diego. He had 5 grandchildren, Alex Henson, Athon Henson, Dixie Henson, Amara Killen and Stephanie Bridgman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Betty Edwards; brothers, Randall and Ricky Edwards; and sister, Reta Edwards.
