Reba Cooper Hamby Obituary (1930

Reba Cooper Hamby, 88, of Odenville formerly of Double Springs, entered into rest on June 26, 2018. Mrs. Hamby was born on January 4, 1930, in Winston County, Alabama. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 10pm-12pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where services will be held at 12pm. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Brother Mike Joyner will officiate. Reba is survived by her sons, Mike Cooper and his wife Joyce, and Johnny Hamby; daughters, Diana McIntosh and her husband Mac, Judy Milligan and her husband George, Lynn Thrasher and her husband Jerry; daughter in law, Paula Cooper. She was “Mama Reba” to 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 18 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband of 22 years, Lloyd Cooper, 2nd husband of 12 years, Etsel Hamby; sons, Lloyd Cooper Jr., and Freddy Cooper; parents, Fred and Dora McCullar; and sister, Laura Terry and her husband Robert. st nd
