Lehman "Buddy" Cagle Obituary (1932

Lehman "Buddy" Cagle, 86, of Haleyville, entered into rest on May 2, 2018 at ECM Hospital. Mr. Cagle was born on March 28, 1932, in Delmar, Alabama. Lehman was known as "Buddy" by family and friends. He attended Delmar School. Buddy always worked as a logger. He loved watching and feeding hummingbirds. Buddy had a bicycle horn on his walking cane and loved to see everyone's face when he would honk it, especially the kids. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 1pm-3pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held at 3pm. Brother Scott Ward will officiate. Burial will follow in Botush Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Buddy is survived by his sons, Wayland Cagle and his wife Vickie, Lonnie Cagle and his wife Shelia, Jerry Cagle and his wife Kathy; daughter, Doris Gosa; sister, Audrey Clark; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was "Pawpaw" to 14 grandchildren, Perry Cagle, Dana Hill, Cindy Crosby, Amy Flores, Lyle Cagle, Misty Welborn, Donnie Gosa, Crystal Frost, Joseph Cagle, Shanna Gann, Angel Cagle, Justin Mobley, Jason Mobley, Lisa Moore; and "Pawpaw Buddy" to 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shirley Cagle; parents, Henry and Gracie Cagle; brother, Odie Ray Cagle; and sister, Anna Lois Ward.
