James Calvin Hill Obituary (1966

James Calvin Hill, age 58 of Arley, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024 in Decatur, Alabama. He was born March 26, 1966 to William Junior and Lois Fay Hill. Calvin was a hard worker. He followed in his daddy's footsteps, and picked up logging, which he was great at. In his past time, he enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was out hunting, fishing or just out in his shop working on his wood products. He always wanted to make someone laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his nephews and nieces, he loved telling them little jokes just to get a little giggle out of them. Calvin loved with all his heart. His greatest love was that of the good lord above and his loving mother. Calvin was one of a kind. Calvin is survived by his mother, Lois Fay Hill; sisters, Eva (Billy) Barnes, and Meletha (Bill) Bailey; brothers, Dean (Cindy) Hill, Lonnie Hill and Onnie Hill; nephews, Landon (Tabitha) Barnes and Austin Barnes; and niece, Haley Bailey; and a host of family and friends that loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his, father, William Junior Hill; brother, David Hill, grandparents, William Riley and Vera Mae Hill and Dewey and Ermie Partridge.
