James Edward "Plowboy" Barnes

James Edward (Plowboy) Barnes, age 69 of Haleyville, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024 at his residence.

He was born August 2, 1954 to James and Eula Barnes. Edward was a very loving husband to Joanna and father to his son, Daniel.

 Visitation will be Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 11:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, Alabama, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Littleville Community Cemetery in Haleyville, Alabama. Brother Coy Morgan will officiate.

 James is survived by his wife, Joanna Barnes; son, James Daniel Barnes; brother, Jeffery (Tami) Barnes; uncle, Orvile (Elaine) Harris; and a host of friends. 

 He was preceded in death by parents, James Onis and Eula Beatrice Barnes; brother, Windell Barnes.
