George "Jack" Wakefield Obituary (1932

Jack was born December 16, 1932, to Luther Andrew and Mary Jane Ward Wakefield. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Arvid Wakefield; three brothers; and four sisters.He is survived by his wife, Faye Blevins Wakefield; three sons, Ronald (JoAnne) Wakefield of Lincoln Park, MI, Mark (Deborah) Wakefield of Prattville, AL, and Luther (Karen) Wakefield of Danville, AL; one daughter Rhonda Barton of Danville, AL; one daughter-in-law Dawn Hinson Wakefield; eleven grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.Visitation will be on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 6-9 at Parkway Funeral Home in Trinity, Alabama, where his funeral service will be Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11am.Please no live flowers. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of the Valley in memory of Mr. Wakefield or the ALS Association in memory of Arvid Wakefield.
