Elizabeth Ann "Libby" Sterling, 65 of Addison, passed away February 16, 2022 at St. Vincent’s Hospital. She was born November 30, 1956 to T.A. Howse and Kathryn Louise Williamson Howse. She loved to sing and play guitar; fishing and trips to the beach with her best friends, “The Golden Girls”. She loved watching Auburn football and Tennessee women’s basketball. Libby loved her family and friends. She was one of a kind. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where a memorial service will be at 2:00pm. Vance Hutton and Terry Michaels will officiate. Libby is survived by her sons, Jimmy Sterling, Rodney Sterling (Brian); granddaughter, Bella Gambrill; nephews, Jamey Hill (Rob), Clint Hill (Lora); great nephew, Blake Hill; great niece, Addi Hill; aunts, Ann Cole (Cecil) and Kathy Williamson; best friend, Bonita McCombs; and a host of other close friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, T.A. and Louise Howse; sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Pete Hill; and brother, Brent Howse.
