Elizabeth "B.B." Mae Hill Obituary (1959

Elizabeth "BB" Mae Hill, 59, of Haleyville, entered into rest on Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Haleyville Health Care. Mrs. Hill was born on March 4, 1959, in Haleyville, Alabama. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Ebron Baptist Church, BB was also a member of the Double Springs Rescue Squad. In her free time she enjoyed shopping, fishing, looking at flowers, being outdoors, and spending time with family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 6pm-8pm at Mt. Ebron Baptist Church in Double Springs, where services will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 3pm, she will lie in state from 2-3pm. J.D. Snoddy and Brother Gary Wakefield will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Ebron Baptist Church Cemetery. BB is survived by her soul mate, Roger Dale Tyler; step son, Shawn Tyler; step daughter, Misty Catlett and her husband Terry; step brothers, Danny, Ronnie, and Dennis Hood; sisters, Becky (Gary) Lewis, Callie (Darrel) Miller, Mary Vickery; step sister, Diane Sizemore; step grandchildren, Ethan, Brandon, and Ciera Catlett; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frog and Nona Vickery; stepmother, Dorothy Vickery; grandparents, Steve and Julia Vickery, Charlie and Lessel Dempsey; brother, James William; and stepbrother, Pete Lauderdale.
