Don Wayne League

Don Wayne League, age 77 of Haleyville, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024.

He was born May 16, 1947 to Murphy and Rachel League. Don loved his children with all his heart. He loved to drive and joke around. He liked to collect model trains. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will begin at 2:00p.m. Burial will be at Winston Memorial in Haleyville. 

 Don is survived by his sons, Wayne League Jr., and Brandon League; daughter, Heather League; brothers, Bruce League, and Tommy League; sister, Barbara Weldon; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Murphy and Rachel League; son, Derrick William League.
