Dave P. McCain Obituary (1949

Dave P. McCain, 69 of Alabaster, entered into rest on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster. Dave was born on January 21, 1949 in Cullman, Alabama. He attended Addison High School. Dave was the owner of Brookwood Motors. He worked in the car business since the age of 16. Dave loved classic cars and enjoyed restoring them. He loved traveling. Dave was a huge supporter of St. Jude's Hospital and UAB Comprehensive Cancer Research. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 12-2pm at Sardis Baptist Church No. 2, where services will be held at 2pm. Brother Donnie Carroll will officiate. Burial will be in Sardis Baptist Church No. 2 Cemetery. Dave is survived by his sons, Jonathan McCain, Matthew McCain; daughter, Brandy McCain; nephew, Wes McCain. He was called "Papa" by 3 grandchildren, Sofie Clark, Katlyn McCain, and Jack Rogers He was preceded in death by his parents, Olen and Lila McCain; and brother, Steve McCain.
