Darlean Tubbs

Darlean Tubbs, age 69, of Lynn, Alabama, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026 at her residence.

She was born July 2, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan to J.C. Tubbs and Janell Dodd. Darlean was known by all to be loving, and courageous. She was a bright soul who would help anyone she came across in need. More than anything, her son knew her to be a wonderful mother loved by all whose lives she graced.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2026 at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, Alabama, where the funeral will take place at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery near Delmer. Daniel Farris will officiate.

Darlean is survived by her son, Casey Tubbs; brother, Tonie C. Tubbs (Kula); special friend, Pat Norris; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Calvin Tubbs, Janell Dodd; and brothers, David Gene Tubbs, and Donald Joe Tubbs.
