Charles Truman Westmoreland Obituary (1951

Charles Truman Westmoreland, 71 of Addison, passed away January 12, 2023, in Addison, Alabama. He was born July 24, 1951, in Addison, Alabama. Charles was a member and deacon of Corinth Old School Primitive Baptist Church. He enjoyed going to Lacon Trade Day on weekends, watching westerns, collecting and tinkering with pocketknives and old collectibles. He loved his wife, daughters, and granddaughters dearly. Charles was a very kindhearted man and willing to help anyone in need. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 12pm until 2pm at Nichols Funeral Homes in Addison. A funeral service will take place on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 2pm where a burial will follow at Kemp Baptist Church Cemetery. Elder Steve Woods will officiate with April Westmoreland and Carly Westmoreland-Bethune being speakers. Charles is survived by his spouse, Theresa Westmoreland; daughters, April Westmoreland and Carly Westmoreland-Bethune (Curtis Bethune); brothers James Westmoreland and Emmet Westmoreland (Katie); sisters, Joyce Widner (Milton), Linda Turney, Donna Smithson (Tony); brother-in-law, George Hamrick; sister-in-law, Brenda Brannon (Rickie); and a host of relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Emmet Westmoreland; mother, Opal Westmoreland; father-in-law, Hewett Hamrick; and mother-in-law, Norma Hamrick.
