Barbara Faye Hill Young Obituary (1945

Barbara Faye Hill Young, 72, of Double Springs, entered into rest on July 5, 2018 at her home. Barbara was born on August 17, 1945, in Alabama. She attended Henryfield Methodist Church. Barbara enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Barbara passed her time by reading her Bible. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 6-8pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where services will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 2pm. Brother Danny Page will officiate. Burial will follow in Double Springs Memorial Cemetery. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Puckett and her husband Jeff; and daughter in law, Teresa McGee and her husband Stacy. She was “Nanny” to 5 grandchildren; Cody (Kim) Young, Caleb Young, Colton Young, Jordan Puckett, Kyle Puckett; 2 great grandchildren Connor David Young and Landon Martin Young. She was preceded in death by her son, Martin Young; father, John Hill; mother Annie Hill; grandson, Jacob Puckett; brothers, Huen Hill, Shorty Hill, Raymond Hill, Ralph Hill, Rayburn Hill, Billy Ray Hill; sisters, Bertha Tidwell, Bea Shively, and Dorothy Whitney.
